Shopping In & Around Hollywood


Hollywood and shopping go hand in hand. When you shop in Hollywood you can experience world class shopping. You can shop in the trendiest boutiques, hottest shopping centers, souvenir shops, and designer stores. Wheather your walking down Melrose or up on Hollywood Blvd. You will able to see the newest fashion trends with the stars and try them on for yourself. You can find whatever you are wanting in Hollywood. Here's a few ideas of some places to go to in and around Hollywood:

 

Beverly Center

This is the most popular mall in the Hollywood area. It has 160 stores, boutiques, and restaurants as well as a movie theater with 13 screens. They are open 10 AM to 9 PM Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday, and 11 AM to 6 PM on Sunday.

They offer stores for everything imaginable. The only thing you are going to be limited to here; be the time and the money that you have because you could easily spend hours, days, and longer here. When you are tired or hungry you can relax at one of the several restaurants or drink shops available to you. You can even break up your shopping trip by seeing one of the latest movies out. It truly is endless what you can buy and do here.



 

Universal CityWalk

This is a shopping, entertainment, and dining entertainment complex that is located beside Universal Studios. It offers you more than twenty-four retail shops, over twelve restaurants, and has a movie theater with eighteen screens. It is situated just outside the gates of the theme park and it is available to everyone without needing a ticket. It is open Sunday to Thursday from 11AM to 9PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11AM to 11PM, with no fee except for parking.

It is built like a narrow city street with many brightly colored signs hanging above. At night it comes alive with all the neon lights and energy. They offer you many fun shops to explore. It is amazing the energy you will feel here, as it escapes from the many boutiques to you. If you have kids, they will love to hang out here, but it also is great place for adults to shop.

 

Decades

This is a shop on Melrose Avenue that offers vintage 1960s and 1970s couture and accoutrements. You will think you fell back in time when you shop here. This boutique is an international hotspot that has been open since 1997.  They dress the stars and you can see all of their latest fashions. If you appreciate the style of the 60s and 70s, you should check out this boutique. They are open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 AM to 6 PM or by appointment.

 

Farmers Market

It may be a tourist stop, but it is also a very fun place to shop. You will find items and food that you cannot find in cities. It is open daily and has 80,000 square feet of retail and restaurants. It is free except for a parking fee. It has all of the charm you can imagine and is frequented by people from all walks of life.
