I have discovered West Hollywood 5 years ago when I started to work for a local business. The diversity of restaurants in a close range and the night-life captivated me, last year I finally moved in from Long Beach because my commutes were getting expensive. Although I am paying a higher rent, being close to my job and many great restaurants has paid off in different ways. You mentioned many clubs on your post but you missed some essential ones…but overall it was a very informative posting about my neighborhood.

My first dog at 63, I had already adopted 2 black Bombay cats from the local shelters but I always wanted a dog of some kind. I always felt envious of people I saw walking their dogs , gathering & chatting on the neighborhood streets, and I always admired the dogs of such varying looks & breeds, always stopped to say hi to the animals when I had a chance. Then finally, I found Zipper, a little black & white Rat Terrier at the West L.A. Shelter on Pico on Friday, August 13, 2010. He is such a joy in my life now that I can’t imagine being without him. Much as I love my 2 cats Zorro & Pepper, Zipper is so alive with activity and he is so playful. He has a whole basket of toys, but his favorite is a squeaky rubber donut, and he always picks that one to toss around and play with. I get extra exercise taking him on walks, get to know more people in the neighborhood who stop to say hi to him, and he curls up with me on the bed when I read or watch the news. He loves to have his belly scratched and his head rubbed. I love this dog and thank God I know the joy of sharing my home with my animals. I needed them as much as they needed me.

That happened to us too except the guy was dressed up like Charlie Chaplin. We asked the lady that was selling some tours who they worked for and she said majority of them are homeless thats why they’re so greedy about the tips.

I would like to know who I could contact about the movie characters in front of the Manns Graumann theatre in Hollywood. I was cursed out and threatened by 2 ladies dressed up like police officers soliciting for money for photos. This was About 12:30 pm Friday May !3th. I will never go back to that part of Hollywood again or frequent the theatre. They basically told me to f–ck off.

While visiting LA, I found some of the top 10 hot spots, 3 of my favorite were Ivar, Nacional and Paladar. Anton Posniak and SGM opened these places that attract some of the best-known names.

Great, and often overlooked, closing message in your next to the last paragraph. You are in control of your money and you are the boss, regardless of who you hire. If you’re beginning, I highly recommend you find a reputable financial planner or investment professional in your local area. Spend the bulk of your time determining who you want to work with and then monitor their recommendations.

As my yoga instructor is fond of repeating, “start where you are”!

The real value of the 1031 exchange is the return on the tax deferral. Effectively this represents an interest free loan. In a tax deferred exchange the tax payment or obligation is postponed until the replacement property sells. Another 1031 exchange can be initiated to once again defer the tax. Often 1031 exchanges are referred to as tax free implying they are free of paying the tax given all exchange rules are followed including the use of a Qualified Intermediary.

My two cents, I study at the Aaron McPherson Acting Studio and he is an excellent coach. I go to him for scene study, on-camera auditioning and for private coaching. Can’t recommend him highly enough!!! He is also recommended by Larry Moss, who is about as good as it gets.

Me and some friends somehow made it past the bouncers after high school prom a few years back for a male strip show. LOL. I guess they wanted to give us party girl wannabes a thrill. I love this place and try to make it there everytime I come back home for a visit.
